Welcome to Journalism
Journalism is an introductory class designed to familiarize 8th graders with the media world.
So what does that mean?
It means we will be working hard to learn all about news, with a heavy focus on the writing process (including reporting, drafting, editing, proofreading and publishing). Journalism students get the opportunity to produce and publish the school newspaper - El Leon - and delve into the world of magazine and yearbook publishing.
