Our first Landrum Movie Night is Friday, October 7th! The movie "Soul Surfer” will be shown and the PTO will be selling tickets in the cafeteria on Oct. 5th, 6th and 7th. The movie is rated PG and a signed permission slip will be required for admission. Doors open promptly at 6:00 and parent pick-up time is 8:15. Flyers with permission slips and more info will be sent home as the date approaches. Come join the fun!

Landrum's annual Fall Family Night is coming up on Friday, October 14th from 5:30-8:30. Parents, be on the lookout for information on class basket donations and possible volunteer opportunities. We're looking forward to a fun filled night with games, food, and more! Don't forget to visit the Book Fair during this event!
The Book Fair is coming! Landrum is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair from October 10th - 14th. Students will visit the Fair during the week in their Language Arts classes. The Fair will be open from 7:30 - 2:00 during the week, and also at Fall Family Night. Come see the great new selections! Parents are welcome!
The Landrum PTO would like to welcome everyone to Landrum Middle School. We are a partnership of parents and teachers working together to provide our school with financial, moral and volunteer support to insure that all students have an optimum environment to develop and learn.
With our tremendous support last year we were able to give back over $50,000 to our school. We were able to provide support to the teachers through grants, purchasing and enhancing technology, providing funding to both our Drama and Music departments and by supporting our many great clubs that reach out to our community.
With monies that we rolled over from last year we are able to purchase 35 laptops for our growing computer class and also give the teachers start up cash of $150 each.
With the continued budget cuts and struggling economy joining the PTO is so important! So please join, volunteer and stay involved.

Afternoon at the Movies
Tickets are $3 and will be sold in the cafeteria Wed., Thurs., and Fri. during lunches the week of the movie.~~Pizza, snacks and bottled water will be sold for $1 per item.~ The movie is rated PG and~a signed permission slip will be required for admission.~ Students will proceed to the auditorium immediately following school dismissal.~~Parent pick-up time is 4:00.~ Come join the fun!

With the continued budget cuts and current economy joining the PTO has never been so important. With our membership monies we are able to give back to the school at the beginning of the school year. So please look for your PTO packets at schedule pick up and join!
