Principal, Alice B. Landrum Middle School
Ms. Harrison is a highly qualified administrator. She has been a Florida certified teacher since 1998. Ms. Harrison holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a minor in Spanish. She holds professional certification in Elementary Education grades 1-6, Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum grades 5-9, Educational Leadership (all levels), Principal Certification, and holds the gifted endorsement and ESOL endorsement. Ms. Harrison completed Broward County’s Clinical Educator Training in 1998 and served as a mentor for new educators through the NESS program, as well as mentoring FAU field experience students and student interns. She has served on Leadership Committees throughout her career including the St. Johns County District Advisory Council. Ms. Harrison earned a Masters Degree in
Educational Leadership in 2004 from the University of North Florida. In 2009 she completed St. Johns County’s 4 year Leadership Training Program and was granted Principal Certification from the Florida Department of Education. Ms. Harrison served as an assistant principal at Fruit Cove Middle School for five years. During the 2010-2011 school year she was awarded as Florida's Outstanding Assistant Principal. Ms. Harrison is looking forward to serving the students and families of Alice B. Landrum in 2011-2012!
