Art
Art is a semester art course that includes instruction in drawing techniques, color theory, painting techniques,collage, printmaking, pottery, and mixed media. Mediums used may include pencil, charcoal, chalk pastels, oil pastels, tempera paint, watercolors, acrylics, inks, clay and found objects.
Sketchpad work is assigned on Fridays and is due the following Friday.
Students may show work 1 week late for 1/2 credit. See sketchpad sidebar for specific assignments.
I hope to foster a love and appreciation of the arts, as well as art skills and knowledge to be applied throughout the lives of my students.
