 Summer ReadingLandrum Middle School
Summer Reading is designed to foster a love of reading. Your student may choose any 3 books from the current or past Sunshine State Young Readers list (Grades 6-8). The form located
below should be completed for each book and returned to school in the fall. Reading three books will result in being awarded five (5) PBS cards which may be redeemed in our PBS store, used in the cafeteria, or saved to be entered in drawings throughout the year. It is our hope that students will choose books for reading enjoyment based on personal preference or interest. Parents, reading with your child is a great family activity and promotes healthy reading habits. Please join us in fostering your child’s love of reading.

*** IF you should choose a book that is NOT on the Sunshine State Reading List then it MUST be on your appropriate grade level. See below for more information on how to determine if the book you choose is appropriate for you!****
WONDERING HOW TO FIND A SUMMER READING BOOK ON YOUR GRADE LEVEL?
From there enter in your grade level for the 2012-2013 school year and the website will generate a list of books that are appropriate for your grade. OR From this page you can also search for a particular title or author to see if it is on your appropriate grade level (it's on the right hand side of the page)
